On 20 May 2010, Art Moment Gallery staff attended the fashion show, which showcased Mok Theorem, women’s fashion label latest collection Check Mate. Mok Theorem was the first label to hold a fashion show at Sydney’s Audi Centre. Spanning 16,000 square meters, this space is the world’s largest Audi dealership.

“Mok Theorem’s style solutions are influenced by persona, passion and physicality before impending trends. This collection places individuality in the hands of sophisticated women eager for directional style minus the luxury price tag. The Spring/Summer 2010/2011 Check Mate collection is crafted to instill confidence with structure and surface sexiness with femininity. Leather, PVC and heavy zipper detailing are juxtaposed with silks. Quirky twists add interest to corset style dresses and minis, whilst cape-like adornments highlight a capacity to transform daywear into nighttime attire,” Mok Theorem Media Release 25 May, 2010.

The fashion show intrigued and inspired. Guests were treated to an assortment of gifts including a personalised Mok Theorem bracelet, with one lucky attendee winning an Audi for the weekend.

Most lingered for the on-going flow of champagne and city views before heading to the exclusive after-party at Kings Cross hot spot – Kit and Kaboodle. This is just the beginning – keep an eye out for the designing duo, sisters Grace and Gloria Mok.
